Orange UK has officially launched HD Voice service for business customers in the UK. HD Voice for business is now available on the Nokia E5 and the Samsung Omnia Pro 5230 handsets. The free HD Voice service is available to all Orange mobile customers.
Other UK mobile services providers will soon follow in Orange's footsteps said experts. Other countries already have networks using the technology.
"Although what we use our mobile handsets for has evolved significantly in the past few years the way we make mobile calls hasn't changed a great deal since the 1990s” said Tom Alexander, Chief Executive Orange UK. Nokia E5 and Samsung Omnia Pro by now support HD Voice.
