Danish First Private Rocket Launch postponed

Danish First Private Rocket Launch postponed

Denmark's private venture rocket launch planned has been postponed. The first launch attempt of Danish rocket failed on Sunday because of a mechanical glitch.Professionals said the likely cause was a failure of the ignition system.

The current launch is an initial test flight which aims to get to a height of 30km. Peter Madsen and Kristian von Bengtson, confirmed that it was a mechanical fault in the main valve on liquid oxygen tank.

After an examination, the engineers decided against a second launch attempt and did not set a new date for a future attempt. The launch had also been delayed several times because of bad weather.
