Charley Hoffman Wins Deutsche Bank Championship 2010 Golf
Charley Hoffman won the Deutsche Bank Championship after firing a whopping 9-under 62 and breezing to a five-stroke win. He moved up 57 spots to No. 2 behind Matt Kuchar in the FedEx Cup standings, giving Hoffman a shot at the $10 million.Hoffman, who earned $1.35 million, had a 22-under 262 total for 72 holes.
The 33-year-old has two PGA Tour victories. Charley Lindley Hoffman (born December 27, 1976) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour.Hoffman was born in San Diego, California. He won the California State High School Championship in 1994 and 1995, becoming the first two time winner. He qualified three times for the Buick Invitational as an amateur.
Hoffman won his 2nd PGA Tour event at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston. The win moved him to 2nd in the FedEx Cup standings. Hoffman entered the tournament ranked 51st, and he didn’t qualify for any of this year’s four majors.
